NFL To Refund Fans For Canceled Games

<
According to USA Today, the NFL announced refunds for all seats general admission for pre-season and regular season games canceled by a potential lockout in 2011.

The refunds would kick in 30 days notice of the league, how many games will be canceled, and how many tournaments in 2011.

It's certaainly a nice gesture from the NFL, but should be greeted with indifferent response of fans who would be affected by this measure.

Certainly the fans did not expect to pay for games not played because of an ongoing battle between the NFL and NFLPA over who gets how many dollars of U.S. $ 8.5 billion revenue that the sport product. Pray for the networks, particularly DirecTV, whose activity depends on the NFL is one thing.

Ask the fans is another. NFL and its teams were not going to put fans in the same situation as the TV networks pay for games that will not play. It seems obvious, but the league wanted to make a point of.
