Hall Comes Out Of The Wings To Take Oilers’ Centre Stage

Taylor Hall is a quick study and Edmonton Oilers head coach Tom Renney is a mad scientist because he thinks moving the rookie closer to the center after only 40 games in the NHL.

Ultimately, Mark Messier was left of his first four years of the Oilers and the NHL All-Star team twice, before moving to the center of a tag team with Wayne Gretzky.

Mark Messier? I do not like this comparison. It is a bit much, "said Hall, who is an avid student of the history of the NHL.

Hall knows the saga and how Messier became a Hall of Fame after moving average, but grimaced at the mention of former Oiler, although similarly skate, chewing ice, and the two as the disk.
