The St. Louis Cardinals have bolstered their Bullpen for the stretch run by coming to terms with veteran left-hander Arthur Rhodes.
The 41-year-old Rhodes is expected to join the Cardinals on Friday, before the start of a three game series against the visiting Colorado. Cardinals roster move to add a Rhodes after reaching agreement with him on Thursday.
Rhodes was released by Texas this week. He went 3-3 with a 4.81 ERA in 32 games with the Rangers. He has held left-handed hitters to a .216 average in 37-at bats.
