Socceroo Vidosic Signs For Adelaide

Australian international Dario Vidosic signed a three-year contract with Adelaide United on Wednesday, after failing to make his mark during a stint in Germany.

"The biggest motivation for me was just happiness—to enjoy my football again," Vidosic, who has appeared 14 times for his country and was in the 2010 World Cup squad, said of his return after a fruitless three years overseas.

"I was being used wrong and I was starting not to enjoy it as much as I'd like to," the 24-year-old added. "I'm a pretty simple footballer. I like the ball at my feet and I missed that."

Vidosic starred in a handful of games for Queensland Roar before moving to Germany where he joined FC Bundesliga club FC Nuremberg.

He made 29 appearances, but was suffered with injuries and eventually moved to MSV Duisburg and finally Arminia Bielefeld on loan before deciding to head home.
