
After some weeks of speculation, Virginia Tech and Alabama have agreed to hand in the Chick-fil-A set of kick-off to open the 2013 college football season.
The date is yet to be determined two years, but will still be played in the Georgia Dome.
Virginia Tech and Alabama have played in Thurs 2009 Kick-off, which saw the eventual national champion defeat the Hokies 34-24.
This will be the 13 th time at Virginia Tech will have faced Alabama in school history, having only defeated the Crimson Tide once, 38-7 in the Music City Bowl in 1998.
15 of Virginia Tech's commitments signed last weekend and started taking lessons on Tuesday.
The only exceptions to the enrollments were defensive back Ronny Vandyke and wide receiver Robert Lockhart. Both perspectives are supposed to be on campus for the first day on August 4th.
